INTRODUCTION

War. War never changes.

The Sleepless Wasteland--the Northeastern part of the US once known as New York City. Denizens here spend their days much as everyone does--fighting for survival. In this post-apocalyptic setting, there is always a struggle, always a new fight. And yet, the people find peace. They find hope amidst the rubble and destruction around them, and the people grow one step closer to forming a more coherent society.

Will your character survive the struggle?

RULES

• Listen and obey administrators/overseers.
  
  
• The Sleepless Wasteland is vastly different from today’s world. This does not excuse disrespectful behavior. Transphobia, homophobia, racism, sexism, or other intolerant behavior is not permitted, unless it makes sense contextually (eg: a human being racist towards a ghoul). If another user is making you uncomfortable, inform an overseer or administrator, and we will do our best to deal with the problem.
  
  
• Do not join if you are under 13 years old.
  
  
• Please remain active, if possible. After two weeks of inactivity, we will send you a warning message. After another week, you will be asked to leave. If you wish to go on hiatus, please inform an overseer or administrator. If you decide to leave, please let us know so we can respond accordingly.
  
  
• You are not allowed to roleplay your character until they are approved.
  
  
• No characters with supernatural abilities allowed.
  
  
• Please try and use proper grammar and punctuation while roleplaying.
  
  
• Your character cannot kill another character without that user’s permission. In addition, avoid godmodding or powerplaying while fighting with other characters. No one has fun against an overpowered character. For more information on this, please see the Game Mechanics.
  
  
• Please do not metagame (using out-of-game information or resources to affect one's in-game decisions).
  
  
• NO sexual roleplays whatsoever! Although this RP is generally mature, as it is Fallout, we cannot allow any public sexual threads. If a thread looks like it is heading that direction, fade it to black.
  
  
• Do not bring in-character aggression over to out-of-character interactions. Roleplay is different from your interactions with real people.
  
  
• Please do not have your character in multiple places at once. If one character is currently being RPed in one forum, they cannot exist in another forum at the same time. As soon as they leave the location, they can be RPed anywhere else.
  
  
• Timeskips can only be authorized by an overseer or an administrator. If you wish to timeskip, please ask an overseer or an administrator.
  
  
• Be respectful of other RPers! If you see two people engaged in combat/talking/etc., please do not shove yourself into the situation. If you are unsure of anything, always ask the other users before acting. In addition, if a thread is labeled as private, do not RP there unless you have permission to.
  
  
• Have fun! This is a place where you can create whatever character you want. If you want to do something specific for your character that isn't listed in the character creation rules, ask an overseer or administrator. We're generally flexible when it comes to character creation.
